We would like to invite you to propose a name for the CEPC reference detector concept. As this detector experiment could be operated at any future electron-positron colliders, including CEPC and FCC-ee, the name should reflect the shared vision and collaborative spirit of our community. Please find below the key guidelines for the naming:
The name should be equally applicable to all future electron-positron collider projects. For example:
The name should not have already been used in particle physics (for detectors, experiments, or major components).
The name should not have nationality biases.
If possible, the name should highlight a clear scientific concept or principle.
If possible, the name should reflect what sets our detector apart from others. For example:
If possible, avoid mentioning Higgs physics in the name unless Z boson is also mentioned, since FCC-ee is focused more on the Z-pole.
Please propose a name for the reference detector in the format of [full name, abbreviation].
