Given that AI tools are advancing extraordinarily rapidly nowadays and both college students and their family members are being heavily distracted by various kinds of information posted online, the mutual relationship between them is undergoing holistic changes in some of the Chinese families. Our team collects several questions which are frequently discussed among Gen-Zs and accordingly makes this questionnaire for our team members to further study the psychology of relatives of college students.
In addition to the study of the mentioned intention, the questionnaire could also work as a complementary resource for students to better understand the developmental changes ("change" refers to the mental and physical strains students endure during their early 20s, also known as Odyssey years) that are happening to them.
To facilitate respondents’ understanding, all questions below are written in Chinese.
This study adopts a cross-sectional self-report survey method. From a multimodal digital ecology perspective, it attempts to map the multi-dimensional intergenerational psychological pathways between college students and their relatives, capturing cognitive, affective and interactive features of family perception triggered by pervasive AI and online information.
