Customer Revisit Intention to Restaurants in Singapore Questionnaire

An invitation to participate in a research project being conducted for the module Business Research Project (PSB6013CL), offered under Coventry University at PSB Academy Singapore.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am seeking individuals aged 21 years old and above who have dined at restaurants in Singapore within the past 12 months and pay for their own dining expenses independently to participate in this project.

Purpose

· The project is designed to explore four core factors: perceived price justice, perceived restaurant food healthiness, service quality and restaurant atmosphere, and examine how these factors affect customer revisit intention.

· The study follows this logic chain: Business symptom: some restaurant operators need to improve repeat patronage and customer loyalty. Underlying cause: customers may reassess whether restaurant dining offers sufficient value when price fairness, healthy food options, service delivery and dining environment do not meet expectations. Measurable research path: these four factors will be measured as independent variables using five-point Likert-scale survey data, and their statistical relationships with customer revisit intention will be tested. Data-based solution: the significant predictors will show which operational areas restaurants should prioritise to increase revisit intention.

· This research is being conducted by WangHaoran (student from Coventry University at PSB Academy Singapore).

The type of questions you will be asked

· If you agree to participate, you will be asked to rate your level of agreement with statements related to perceived price justice, perceived restaurant food healthiness, service quality, restaurant atmosphere and customer revisit intention towards restaurants in Singapore.

· Demographic questions will be used only to describe the sample. No full name, phone number, NRIC, home address, employer name or other direct identifiers will be collected.

What will be required from you

· Please answer all questions honestly. The questionnaire will take approximately 8-10 minutes to complete.

· Participation is completely voluntary. You may withdraw before submitting the online questionnaire by closing the browser window. Because responses are anonymous, a submitted response cannot be identified and removed after submission.

· Responses are strictly confidential and will only be reported in aggregated form.

What happens to this information?

· The results will help organisations in the Singapore F&B restaurant industry understand the key drivers of customer revisit intention.

· Only aggregated results will be analysed and reported in the dissertation for PSB6013CL Business Research Project.

· Only the primary researcher will have access to the anonymous coded dataset. The dataset will be stored on a password-protected device and retained for at least five years according to university requirements before secure deletion.

Informed Consent

After reading this explanatory statement, continuing to the questionnaire will signify that you voluntarily consent to participate in this research. You confirm that you are aged 21 or above and understand that no direct personal identifiers will be collected.
