This study documents real experiences with AI companions for academic research and product development. If selected:

You will participate in a 60-120 minute interview (text or voice call, your choice).

Compensation is 100RMB(~$15USD) upon completion.

Your story may appear in published research and investor materials, fully anonymized, no real names, no identifying details without your explicit consent.

Withdrawal & Data Use:

You may withdraw from this study at any time. If you choose to withdraw, you will be asked how you'd like your data handled:

Option A — Full withdrawal: All your data is deleted. Nothing is used.

Option B — Partial use: Anonymized data collected up to the point of withdrawal may still be used in research and materials. No further participation required.

Option C — Quote approval: You review and approve any specific quotes or story details before they appear in any published material. Anything you reject is removed.

If you withdraw before completing the interview, compensation will be prorated based on participation.

You may withdraw at any time before publication without penalty.

All raw interview data is stored securely and accessible only to the research team.
