Dear Potential Participant,
As part of my Research Skills course, I am undertaking a research project entitled
The Impact of Swimming on Physical Health. This project examines how
regular swimming affects various aspects of physical health, including
cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, flexibility, body composition, and
overall well-being. Participants were chosen based on their experience with
swimming (recreational or competitive) to gather diverse perspectives.
I would like you to complete an anonymous online survey that will take
approximately 1015 minutes. Your participation is completely voluntary, and
there will be no negative consequences for not participating.
If you choose to take part, you have the right to:
Withdraw from the survey at any time without penalty.
Request access to the aggregated results once the study is complete.
Have your data kept strictly confidential; no personally identifiable information
will be shared.Data Usage:
1. I will provide you with a copy of the final report; data will be aggregated so
individuals cannot be identified.
2. (Optional) I may quote anonymous comments with your permission.
3. A summary of results will be shared with your organization (if applicable) or
made available upon request.
Thank you for considering participating in this study. If you have any questions,
please contact my supervisor or me.
The university requires that all participants are informed that if you have any
complaints about the research, you may direct them to the researcher or, if
preferred, an independent contact at teacher.
