Since January 11, 2024, China's National Immigration Administration introduced five new measures to simplify entry procedures for foreigners coming for business, study, or tourism. Yet, daily use of identity documents and local conveniences still have room for improvement. In this regard, The Center for China and Globalization (CCG), centering in Beijing, is conducting a survey on identity document usage and convenience for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan residents, overseas Chinese, and foreign nationals in Beijing.
