2026 SPEIT FALL SEMESTER COURSE LIST [17/03/2026]

Dear Exchange Students,


Welcome to SPEIT! To ensure a smooth academic experience during your exchange period, we encourage you to start planning your course selection early. While the exact timetable is not yet finalized, over 90% of the listed courses are expected to proceed as scheduled during your semester. To avoid any confusion at the beginning of the term, please carefully select your courses based on your major and language proficiency.


Before you begin course selection, please READ CAREFULLY these important considerations:


1.Cross-Major Course Coordination For your convenience, courses designated for multiple majors (such as IE\ME\EPE) have been specifically coordinated to avoid scheduling conflicts within these designated major combinations. 

2.Potential Scheduling Conflicts When selecting courses across different majors, please be aware that scheduling overlaps may occur. For instance, an Information Engineering (IE) course "Network Security Technologies （2 Credits）- IE - English" might conflict with an Energy and Power Engineering (EPE) course "Fluid Thermodynamics （2 Credits）- EPE - French\English". While you may provisionally select one or two courses with potential time conflicts, please prepare backup options in case these conflicts materialize in the final schedule.

3.Language of Instruction The courses listed below are taught in English or French. We strongly encourage you to carefully assess your language proficiency before selecting your courses. If you would prefer to take courses taught in Chinese, please feel free to let me know — I’d be happy to provide you with the relevant course options.

4.Chinese Language International students are invited to enrich their academic experience by enrolling in courses on Chinese Language and Culture, offered by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Please be advised that we cannot assure that the scheduling of these courses will not overlap with your courses at SPEIT. Therefore, we recommend selecting these courses as additional electives beyond the minimum credit requirements stipulated by your home school.
