Pony.ai 2025 ESG Materiality Assessment Survey

Questionnaire Background

Pony AI Inc. ("Pony.ai", the “Company”) is listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “HKEX”). In accordance with the Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Code issued by the HKEX, the Company is required to disclose ESG information on an annual basis. Pursuant to the ESG Reporting Code, listed companies are required to identify their key ESG issues for the year based on stakeholder engagement.


Questionnaire Instructions

1. This questionnaire consists of two sections with a total of 24 questions and takes approximately five minutes to complete.
2. This questionnaire aims to understand your expectations, as a stakeholder, regarding Pony.ai’s ESG-related performance. There are no right or wrong answers, and no professional expertise is required. Please respond based on your existing understanding of Pony.ai.
3. This questionnaire is completed anonymously. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for the purpose of this survey analysis. Thank you for your support of Pony.ai.

The Company manages and controls emissions arising from its operations (such as greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles and electricity consumption, as well as non-hazardous and hazardous waste generated from office operations), implements effective measures to reduce emissions, and sets short-, medium- and long-term targets accordingly.

3. Resource and Energy Use

The Company manages and controls the use of energy and resources in its operations (such as energy, water and paper), implements energy-saving and water-saving measures, and sets short-, medium- and long-term targets accordingly. 

4. Environmental and Natural Resource Protection

The Company places emphasis on environmental and natural resource protection in its operations, pays attention to biodiversity, and strives to minimize the impact of its business activities on the natural environment.

The Company integrates green and low-carbon concepts into the research and development of its core products and technologies, reduces energy and resource consumption through algorithm optimization and system design, and minimizes the environmental impact of its products and services.

The Company protects users’ lawful rights and interests, standardizes feedback and complaint handling mechanisms, ensures efficient complaint resolution, and enhances service quality and user satisfaction.

The Company upholds “safety first” as its core principle and ensures product safety and quality throughout the stages of product design, testing and operations. It strengthens safety management and end-to-end quality control to achieve responsible and rigorous autonomous driving solutions.

The Company establishes innovation mechanisms, emphasizes investment in science, technology and research and development, accelerates breakthroughs in key core technologies, and continuously enhances its innovation capabilities. 

18. Intellectual Property Protection

The Company complies with laws and regulations related to intellectual property, standardizes the management of advertising, trademarks and branding, strengthens employees’ awareness of intellectual property protection, and avoids infringement of third-party intellectual property while protecting its own rights.

The Company adheres to a prudent approach in public road testing and operations, prioritizes public safety, ensures safe driving, and safeguards public safety.
