We are conducting an academic study on doctoral students’ reading experiences and psychological adaptation. This questionnaire is completed anonymously. All responses will be kept strictly confidential and used for academic research purposes only. No commercial use is involved, and no personally identifiable information will be collected.
There are no right or wrong answers in this questionnaire. All items are intended solely to understand your genuine experiences and perspectives. Your participation will provide valuable insights into understanding the mechanisms through which reading activities may influence the psychological adaptation of doctoral students.

Eligibility Criteria
Please confirm that you meet the following criteria:
1.You are currently a formally registered doctoral student.
2.Recently, you have experienced a certain degree of stress or anxiety in your study or daily life.
3.Within the past month, you have read narrative texts (i.e., reading materials that include characters, plots, or the development of events, such as novels, essays, biographies, and narrative non-fiction).
If you do not meet the above criteria, this survey may not be suitable for you at this time. Thank you for your interest and support.
