An invitation to participate in a research project being conducted for the module Business Research Project (PSB6013CL), offered under Coventry University at PSB Academy Singapore.
Dear Sir/Madam, I am seeking individuals aged 21 years old and above who have visited or purchased from apparel retail stores in Singapore within the past 12 months and pay for their own apparel purchases independently to participate in this project.
Purpose
· The project is designed to explore four core factors: perceived price value, product quality, in-store experience and omnichannel convenience, and examine how these factors affect customer purchase intention.
· The study follows this logic chain: Business symptom: apparel retailers need to protect customer purchase intention when consumers become more selective about discretionary spending and channel choices. Underlying cause: customers may reduce purchases when they do not perceive strong value, product quality, store experience or convenient online-offline support. Measurable research path: perceived price value, product quality, in-store experience and omnichannel convenience will be measured as independent variables, and their statistical relationships with customer purchase intention will be tested. Data-based solution: significant predictors will guide apparel retailers on where to improve pricing communication, merchandising, store operations and online-offline integration.
· This research is being conducted by WangHaoran (student from Coventry University at PSB Academy Singapore).
The type of questions you will be asked
· If you agree to participate, you will be asked to rate your level of agreement with statements related to perceived price value, product quality, in-store experience, omnichannel convenience and customer purchase intention toward apparel retail stores in Singapore.
· Demographic questions will be used only to describe the sample. No full name, phone number, NRIC, home address, employer name or other direct identifiers will be collected.
What will be required from you
· Please answer all questions honestly. The questionnaire will take approximately 8-10 minutes to complete.
· Participation is completely voluntary. You may withdraw before submitting the online questionnaire by closing the browser window. Because responses are anonymous, a submitted response cannot be identified and removed after submission.
· Responses are strictly confidential and will only be reported in aggregated form.
What happens to this information?
· The results will help organisations in the Singapore apparel retail industry understand the key drivers of customer purchase intention.
· Only aggregated results will be analysed and reported in the dissertation for PSB6013CL Business Research Project.
· Only the primary researcher will have access to the anonymous coded dataset. The dataset will be stored on a password-protected device and retained for at least five years according to university requirements before secure deletion.
